He received his bachelor’s degree from Selçuk University, Department of International Relations. Completing his master's degree in the Department of Security Strategies and Management at Police Academy, Korkmaz continues his doctorate program in the same department. Having articles and statements on national and international media, Korkmaz’s research interests include radicalization, terrorism, and war.
