 YEMENI YOUNG DIPLOMATS IN ORSAM
On November 16th 2011, a round-table meeting was held in ORSAM with a 13-people delegation, composed of 10 young diplomats working in the the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Yemen. In the meeting, where ORSAM Water Research Programme Advisor Dr. Seyfi Kılıç carried out a presentation introducing ORSAM, Hydropolitics Specialist Dr. Tuğba Evrim Maden and ORSAM Middle East Specialist Oytun Orhan also participated.
Following the presentation on ORSAM and its studies, mutual questions were asked. During the meeting, where important issues of the recent period such as the Arab Spring and its influence on Syria were predominantly discussed, participants also talked on the situation and future of Yemen, as well as of the new governments in post-Arab Spring period. |
