Meeting with SARENJ CENTER

“SARENJ CENTER FOR POLL & RESEARCH” was founded in Arbil in 2005. It is the first think-tank within the Kurdish Regional Government. It carries on its activities through various academics and experts. The Sarenj Center defines the Iraqi Politics and Relations with Turkey as its focus of research and thus seeks to establish and develop relations with think-tanks in Turkey.

Mr Agit Zaher, the director of Turkey Department in Sarenj Center visited ORSAM and joined a roundtable meeting with ORSAM Director Hasan Kanbolat and ORSAM Experts. During the meeting, Iraqi politics, developments in Northern Iraq, relations between Turkey and Iraqi Kurds and potentials for cooperation were discussed.
