THE RECENT REGIONAL DEVELOPMENTS WERE EVALUATED WITH THE DIRECTOR OF VOX POPULI, VISINTAINER AT ORSAM

A round-table meeting was held with Ermanno Visintainer, the Director of Vox Populi which is a think-tank organization in Italy on 28 Sebtember 2011 at ORSAM. During the meeting, Visintainer  evaluated the recent events in Mediterrannean and North Africa and the role of Turkey from the perspective of Italy. Visintainer  emphasized that Europe  has begun hostlilities against Italy, “Libia was an excuse for Europe. France supported the war in order to build a structure in conformity with her own interests by ending the influence of Italy over Libia. During the session, Visintainer also made several evaluations such as the changing public opinion after the assault of Sebtember 11, the regional role of Turkey and Isreal- Palestine problem.
