A group of Georgia State Universiy Political Science Department students paid a visit to ORSAM on
18 May 2015.

The meeting began with a small presentation on ORSAM’s activities and publications. Following this brief introduction, ORSAM Research Assistant Nebahat Tanrıverdi Yaşar introduced her research interests and gave a little speech on the current situation in North Africa and Middle East. The meeting continued with a presentation on the current situation of Iraqi Turkmens and the impact of ISIS’ progression on Iraqi Turkmens by Bilgay Duman, ORSAM Researcher. The meeting ended with a question and answer session.
