ORSAM Visit by Yeditepe University International Relations Club

A group of twenty-five students from the International Relations Club at Yeditepe University visited the Center for Middle Eastern Strategic Studies (ORSAM) on 24 January 2017.

In the meeting beginning with the introductory presentation of ORSAM Researcher OytunOrhan with respect to ORSAM activities and publications, ORSAM Researcher Assistant FiruzeYağmurGökler gave information regarding the Applied Training Program and Summer-Winter Schools organized for students by ORSAM. After Göklerinformed the students about ORSAM bulletins, ORSAM ResearcherBilgayDuman mentioned the recent developments in Iraq and the field studies conducted by ORSAM.Following Duman’s speech, ORSAM ResearcherOytunOrhan gave information on the research centers in Turkey and touched upon the latest developments in Syria. The meeting ended after the questions of the students with respect to the activities of the center and the developments especially in Syria and Iraq were answered..
