Hamza Haşıl

He graduated from Middle East Technical University (METU), Department of History (major) and Sociology (minor) in 2015. He studied Arabic at Kuwait University Philology Center between 2015-2016 by earning the Kuwait government scholarship. He complited his master's degree and currently, he is pursuing PhD degree in Middle East Technical University. Haşıl, who has conducted researches on the state-building in the Middle East and the geopolitics of East Africa-Red Sea surrounding, has closely interested in Syrian civil war. Hamza Haşıl, who has been working at ORSAM since June 2018, has been continuing his role as an Expert on North African Studies since July 2024. Along with advanced English, he speaks intermediate Arabic, simple Persian and French.
