HACETTEPE UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS SOCIETY PAID A VISIT TO ORSAM

On March 24th 2010, Hacettepe University International Relations Society paid a visit to ORSAM with a group of 40 students, and they were informed about the works of think-tanks and also about ORSAM's activities. During the meeting, ORSAM Director Hasan Kanbolat, Middle East Specialists Oytun Orhan and Bilgay Duman answered the questions of the members of Hacettepe University International Relations Society on subjects such as; the functions of think-tanks across the world and Turkey, their working principles, information methods, and their target groups. ORSAM Director Kanbolat stated that think-tank culture in Turkey is still too young, and that there was a rapid growth in amount of this kind of organizations in early 2000's.
