Meeting with US Academics

A group of US academics who came to Ankara, as part of various other meetings in Turkey, visited ORSAM on March, 18 2009. The delegations who were given a brief description of the studies of ORSAM, included representatives from Wayne State University’s Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies, New York University, World Policy Institute, The Century Foundation, Columbia University, Maxim Network. During their visit the delegations were engaged in an exchange of views on the Middle East issues. Some of the academics expressed their willingness to produce various studies to appear in the publications of ORSAM. They also agreed to arrange joint meetings and workshops in cooperation with the institutions they represented.
