THE VISIT OF THE COMMITTEE FROM THE SYRIAN MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS TO THE ORSAM

A committee from the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs paid a visit to the ORSAM on January 26, 2011. The Syrian Foreign Ministry Committee was represented by the Second Secretaries Tamim Malko, Muhammedi Al Nasan, Mustafa Dayoob, Monor Taleb and the Third Secretary Basel Neyazi in the meeting where the ORSAM Academic Staff were present.

The participants of the meeting exchanged their views about the subjects such as the effects of the Syrian Foreign Ministry Committee and of the Think Tanks on the decision makers, the influence level of the ORSAM’s studies, the effect of the ORSAM’s studies on the state institutions and the public opinion, the quality of the ORSAM’s studies the research methods of the ORSAM, the means of improving the relations between the Turkish and Syrian intellectuals and of increasing the cooperation possibility between the Turkey and Syria, the relations between the Turks and Arabs, the future of the relations with Syria, the relation level of the ORSAM with the embassies of the Arab countries in Turkey, the event on the Mavi Marmara and the future of the relations between the Turks and Israelis.
