Visit of Giresun University Strategic Researches Community

Twenty-five students representing Giresun University Strategic Researches Community visited the Center for Middle Eastern Strategic Studies (ORSAM) on Friday, 10 March 2017. 

ORSAM Researcher Bilgay Duman, ORSAM Research Assistants Firuze Yağmur Gökler, Sertaç Canalp Korkmaz and Feyzullah Tuna Aygün welcomed the student group. During the visit, ORSAM Researcher Bilgay Duman introduced ORSAM, ORSAM activities and publications and mentioned about ORSAM field studies. ORSAM Research Assistant Firuze Yağmur Gökler gave information about ORSAM Applied Training Program and Summer and Winter Schools for students. The meeting ended after the questions of the students regarding the activities of the center and the developments in the Middle East, notably in Syria and Iraq, were answered.
