Merve Çakır received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the Middle East Technical University and her Master's in Economics from Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. Focusing on the economies and institutional structures of Middle Eastern countries, particularly the Levant. Merve Çakır’s studies concentrate on political economy.
