Biography
Zeynep Duran received her undergraduate degree from Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, having studied in the Department of International Relations. During her bachelor’s program, Ms. Duran did internships at several institutions such as the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Center for Strategic Resarch (SAM), the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), and the Ministry of the Interior Directorate General of Migration Management (GIGM). She is currently working as a non-resident fellow at the Security Studies Desk of ORSAM and is doing her master's degree in Security Studies at the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) University of Economics and Technology. Ms. Duran is interested in Turkish foreign policy, foreign policy analysis, international relations theory, extremism, and non-state armed actors.
