Hüseyin Ali Himmetli

He completed his undergraduate studies in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at Karabük University. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in International Relations at the same university. Between 2016 and 2020, under a project of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), he worked as a Turkish-Arabic interpreter and fieldwork coordinator at the Keçiören District Governorate and Keçiören Municipality. From 2023 to 2024, he served as a research fellow with the Iraq Studies Coordination Unit at ORSAM. Since 2024, he has been working as a Project Assistant at SETA. His work focuses on conducting research and field studies in the areas of foreign policy and the Middle East. Born in Iraq’s Tal Afar, he is fluent in Turkish and Turkmen and has advanced proficiency in Arabic.
