ORSAM, European Neighborhood Council ile birlikte, 09 Haziran 2016 tarihinde Turkey-EU Cooperation in Counter-terrorism: Challenges of ISIS and PKK konulu bir konferansı Brüksel’de düzenlemiştir. Etkinlik akademi ve düşünce kuruluşlarından uzmanlarla uygulayıcıları bir araya getirmiştir. Chatham House kuralları altında gerçekleştirilen etkinlik, tecrübeli güvenlik uzmanları ve akademisyenlerin bir araya gelerek etnik radikalleşme ve yabancı terörist savaşçılar konularındaki görüşlerini üst düzey karar alıcılarla paylaşmasına imkan tanımıştır. Etkinlik Türkiye ve ABD’nin terörizmle mücadelesine önemli bir akademik katkı yapmıştır.
