Use Of Social Media By Terror Organizations: The Case Of ISIS

Since ISIS' narrative draws thousand of foreign fighter from numerous countries, it is important to make sense of what appeals to the crowds in its narrative. In order to do so, several main points from the very ideological basis of the narrative to the fertile ground it can find and from religious illiteracy to xenophobia and Islamophobia and marginalization need to be analysed. ISIS can utilise on all these points quite strategically in orer to legitimise its stance as well as to recruit fresh manpower.
