Coordinatorships

North and East Africa

The ORSAM North and East Africa Studies Coordination Office closely monitors political, economic, and social developments across the Maghreb and East Africa, while analyzing the interconnections within the Red Sea basin, the Horn of Africa, and the Sahel belt from a comprehensive and integrated perspective.

Key areas of focus include governance, security, terrorism, social transformation, and the influence of global actors on the region’s countries. Through a collaborative network of local experts and institutions, the Office examines strategic transformation processes and long-term regional trends, producing policy-oriented studies for decision-makers, researchers, and the broader public.
