Biography

Director of the Arabic Studies Department at ORSAM since 2020. Iraq Studies expert at ORSAM since 2018. Fellow researcher at ORSAM 2015-2018. A faculty member on the permanent staffing in University of Mosul in Iraq 2008-2018. Lecturer and senior researcher in the Regional Studies Center in University of Mosul 2008-2018. A visitor faculty member in College of Political Science in University of Mosul 2008-2017. He holds a Ph.D. in History of International Relations. He holds a Master's degree in Strategic and Military Science from Al-Bakr University for Higher Military Studies in Baghdad 2000. His research interests are concentrated on the Iraqi affairs, security strategies and the security dimension in the international relations. He wrote the books "Weakness and Strength Factors in Iraqi -Turkish Modern Relations" at 2017, "The security dimension in the Contemporary Iraqi-Turkish relations" at 2014. His joint books "Political Decision Making in the Arab Gulf Countries"-participate with other researcher-at 2013, "Studies in Contemporary Caucasus History"-participate with other researcher-at 2011,"Iraq and Arab Gulf Countries"-participate with other researchers-at 2010. He has edited a book of "The Strategic Report for the Regional Studies Center at University of Mosul" for the Years 2010-2011-2012. He has more than 30 research paper published in Iraqi, Arab and Turkish journals and tens of articles which published in the periodicals, newspapers and websites. He participated in delivering lectures and researches in tens of the local, Arab and international seminars, conferences and intellectual forums. He obtained a research fellowship and scholarship to cover a research program from the Institute of International Education (IIE) in New York since 2014 and until July 2017. He certified as a political analyst at TRT Arabi TV, Anadolu News Agency, and many Arab and Iraqi TV.
